Some lucky people will have the chance to stay in the penthouse sweet of a luxury resort in Hawaii with the company of a loving shelter dog.
Three Hawaiian luxury resorts have partnered with the Maui Humane Society to host the shelter’s annual sleepover fundraiser.
The event is part of the Wags to Riches campaign which aims to fundraise money for the shelter dogs, as well as bring awareness to the pups who are need of forever homes.
According to the Maui Humane Society, the top fundraisers of the event will win a stay at either the Four Seasons Resort Maui, the Fairmont Kea Lani, or the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort, and they won’t be staying alone. The resort guests will be enjoying a luxury penthouse along with a shelter dog of their choosing.

Those who don’t win the luxury resort stay will still have a chance to sleep with some furry companions. As the website states, “The top dog fundraisers will get the royal treatment at a luxurious Wailea resort: Four Seasons, Fairmont Kea Lani and Andaz Maui. The additional participants will be competing for a luxury-themed night in the kennels at the shelter!”
The 16 winners of the event will be announced 12:00pm HST on April 30, 2021.
As of now, the humane society has reached 22% of its $50,000 goal on its fundraising platform, Qgiv.
The Rags to Riches sleepover will take place on May 1st, 2021, after the winner has been announced.
