There’s a saying, “good fences make good neighbors.” It’s supposed to imply that a division between properties will help keep each individual to themselves so that there are no disputes.

It’s about keeping to yourself and not intruding on others. And while that might be how humans do things, dogs are different.

Dogs don’t really care about fences. They care about people and other animals. Everyone is a friend to them, and they’re usually the ones that initiate breaking through barriers, such as fences, in order to make friends.

One woman caught a very sweet moment between her neighbor and her dog. Bounder is a Labrador living in Brownsville, Oregon who just wants to play ball. He is the beloved pooch of 37-year-old Brittney Reynolds.

One day, she looked outside to her yard to see something really sweet: her neighbor playing fetch with Bounder.

The Labrador was having the time of his life chasing after a ball that his neighbor kept shooting off for him in this ball launching apparatus that he had.

The man had no idea that Reynolds was watching and recording the moment. Even though there is a fence dividing the two properties, Bounder didn’t seem to mind at all. He was just happy for a friend who was willing to play with him.

The man seemed more than happy to do it. He kept launching the ball over the fence and Bounder kept fetching it. It is doubtful any fence will come between this friendship any time soon!
