When we have a cat in our lives, we try to do what we can to make them happy and comfortable. Some people, however, may overstep certain boundaries and that is what happened with one woman who went on the Reddit forum, “Am I the A****** .”
She wanted to find out if she was actually being cruel to her cat when she teased it.
The way that she teases the cat is by pretending to give it a treat so that the cat will do her bidding. Her girlfriend is irritated by her behavior.
She said: “I don’t like my cat roaming around the kitchen when I’m not there just because he might get his less-than-average-intelligence paws on something he shouldn’t.”

She went on to say that she needs to get him out of the area when they leave so she keeps some treats nearby and shakes the bag when getting close to the door.
The problem lies in the fact that she doesn’t always give the cat treat, she just picks some up and gives him a little love. Sometimes the cat does get the treat.
Her girlfriend is upset because she feels it is mean to the cat because it is expecting a treat and she is disappointing it. Some people agreed and other people disagreed, and the debate rages on.
