It’s the holiday season which means that many people have put out decorations, including nativity scenes. Whether you’re religious or not, you know what a nativity scene consists of Mary, Joseph, the Three Wise Men, shepherds, animals, etc. Of course, in the very middle of it all, there is the baby Jesus lying in a manger.
For Nádia Rosângella, one nativity scene in particular really stood out to her.
As she was passing a nativity display in her hometown in Brazil, she ended up doing a double-take. Rather than the baby Jesus lying in the manger, there was a little stray pup.
The poor pooch had sought shelter in the manger for the night and was peacefully sleeping. Given that the manger was the perfect size, the puppy had found a great spot for the evening.
The nativity was right in the middle of the town’s square, so the little dog would have been in full view of all those passing by. Still, Nádia thought the sight was quite a cute one.

Nádia couldn’t adopt the little pup herself – as much as she would’ve loved to – but she wanted to try and find the little canine a forever home, so she took a photo and began circulating the image online.
It didn’t take long for one of Nádia’s friends to reach out and offer to adopt the little pup. So, for this very lucky puppy, Christmas is going to be a happy event this year.
Now she’s got a brand new forever home full of people who love her – and that’s the happy ending that we love to read about.
