A black Labrador retriever named Bounder was found bounding towards their yard fence by his owner.
In a TikTok video posted by Brittney, Bounder’s owner, she found out that her neighbor and her dog have been playing fetch together. Although their yards have a fence separating the playmates, it didn’t deter the duo from playing together.
You can barely see the neighbor in the now viral video on Tiktok but you can definitely see the bright orange ball gun that they use to play fetch with Bounder. Watch the cute exchange in the video below.

“He’s obsessed. He will play fetch until I make him stop,” Brittney said when asked about her dog.
In her interview with The Dodo, Brittney told the story on how she managed to document her dog and her neighbor’s wholesome exchange.
“The neighbor was sitting on his back patio with the ball gun on the table, and Bounder was staring him down and barking at him wanting to play,” Reynolds said. “I tried to tell him to stop barking, but the neighbor got up and started shooting the ball gun for him. It was just so cute. I went and thanked him for playing with my boy and found out that they had been doing this for a while.”
The day after posting the cute video, Brittney posted another TikTok telling the viewers some more backstory about their neighbor. Apparently, the ball gun was something that the neighbor got for their own dog after seeing Bounder’s ball gun. “They saw our ball gun that we had of Bounder and they loved it for their dog, so they bought one too… Then I caught my neighbor playing with the ball gun over the fence with my dog. And he brings it back and he pulls it out on his hands and knees from under the fence and it’s so cute and I love them,” Brittney said.
The following days after the discovery, Brittney became acquainted with the neighbors and now their dogs have become playmates! The neighbor’s dog, Lyla, is now often seen featured in Brittney’s TikTok as well. Both households have agreed on an open gate policy, it seems, so that their dogs can play together anytime.
Bounder and Lyla have become best friends and a new video from Brittney’s TikTok was just posted yesterday of the two in their now seemingly shared yard.
