Snacking is a wonderful pastime. There are so many different snacks available to us, it’s hard to pick a favorite. One thing that is for certain, most of us who have dogs will often end up sharing whatever snacks we got with our canine companions – provided they’re dog-friendly, of course.
Some dogs get to enjoy a little nibble of peanut butter or something of the sort, but the lucky few get little bits of meat. And let’s be honest, our dogs love everything meat. That is why the newest snack release from Trader Joe’s is perfect for our pet pooches.

The Chew-cuterie dog treats come as bite-sized morsels in different flavors – cheddar cheese, salami, provolone cheese, and prosciutto. Each dog biscuit even comes shaped like its human food counterparts. How cute is that?
They’re available for $3 a box, and so far, the new dog biscuits have been met with good reviews with one Instagramer sharing how her dog feels about them, writing, “My puppers Bu and Pot Pie are so excited for this box of treats! Pot Pie is happy as she loves meaty treats while Bu will eat anything! It’s a one size fits all box of treats!”
They are proving to be a hit amongst many dog owners that it’s causing cat owners to ask for a feline version to be released. And honestly, I think that is a brilliant idea.
The dog treats do contain wheat and oats, which is something to keep in mind if you have your dog on a grain-free diet. Of course, if your dog is not on a grain-free diet then the next time you’re having a wine and charcuterie night at home, your pup can join in on the fun!
What do you think of these new dog treats? Would you ever buy them for your dog? Let us know!
