Sometimes, you just need cute kittens to demonstrate how your daily clicks, donations, and shopping at The Animal Rescue Site store makes a big difference to rescued animals.
These cute photos were sent to us by the McPherson County Humane Society in Kansas, where rescued cats Bella and Hawk helped unwrap a delivery of toys, supplies, and life-saving kitten formula from Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site.
But this generous gift wouldn’t have been possible without the support of Animal Rescue Site readers, whose daily clicks on our website, donations to our causes, and shopping at The Animal Rescue Site store helped us shower this non-profit rescue with provisions worth thousands of dollars.
In addition to a wide selection of cat toys, the delivery also included litter boxes and scoops, wire pet crates, and 45 cat castles — which are being explored with great interest by the shelter’s kitten residents.
Your relief package also included an emergency shipment of life-saving formula for newborn kittens, who require bottle feeding to survive without their mother’s milk. But while bottles and formula are crucial to an orphaned newborn’s survival, both remain in short supply in U.S. shelters – which were underfunded even before Covid-19 canceled their fundraising.
Please click here if you’d like to help us provide life-saving formula and nursing bottles to ensure orphaned kittens and puppies survive their first days in the shelter. If you’re feeling especially generous, you can even help save a whole litter.
Your ongoing support also helped us deliver protective face masks and veterinary supplies to the Humane Society of Broward County in Florida. This critical donation will help rescuers continue their lifesaving work by equipping staff with protective gear and vital supplies as they work around-the-clock to save shelter animals.
These crucial donations help shelter kittens like Kimber, whose injured leg was covered in protective vet wrap funded by Animal Rescue Site readers and shoppers. Thanks for helping us give Kimber the support she needs to recover from her injuries and get adopted!
Bella, Hawk, and Kimber are just a few of the shelter pets who benefit from your ongoing support of The Animal Rescue Site, which can distribute critical supplies to shelters across the U.S. because of your daily clicks, donations, and shopping. Thank you for your commitment to helping us save rescued animals!
