Moz is one lucky pup. The small and deaf pup first came into Thom Hawk’s care as a little foster puppy.
He was skinny, didn’t have any hair, and was generally a “weird-looking stray,” as Hawk recalled.
Regardless of his appearance, Hawk, as well as his three foster dogs, welcomed Moz into the mix and began to care for him.
This meant that Moz soon began to accompany Hawk and the other dogs on their walks around the neighborhood. During these excursions, the group would often pass by a home that happened to belong to Lauren and her 2-year-old daughter, Lillian.
It didn’t take long for Lillian to see the group of dogs walking by one day, and the little girl knew that she needed to go say hi.
But when she went down and met the group, it was Moz who really stood out to her. In fact, it was an instantaneous bond that the two formed.

It was long until Lillian was joining Moz on his walks and spending time with the little pup. The girl and her family even looked after Moz for a few weeks when Hawk had to go out of town on business.
During that time that Lillian and Moz were together, it was quite clear that the little pup had finally found his forever home, and Hawk couldn’t have been happier to see Moz go to a wonderful home saying, “Moz hit the jackpot with these guys.”
