The American Kennel Club compiled a list of the most popular dog names of 2022 so you can check them out for yourself.

The company used data from its purebred dog registration and Canine Partner mixed-breed enrollment to create the list.

The number one female dog name of 2022 is Luna, followed closely by Bella which came in as number 2. You can check out the full top 10 girl dog names of 2022 below:

As for male dogs, Max ended up coming in as the number one dog name of 2022. Milo and Cooper followed up the top sight, ranking in second and third place, respectively.
