Many of us have probably dreamed about living life in a beautiful hotel and not having a care in the world.

Although we may not be able to do so, we can live vicariously through this cat, who was named after the Queen.

Lilibet lives in a 5-star London hotel and has free roam at the establishment, which charges as much as £27,000 for a one-night stay.

Of course, once people learned about this feline living a life of luxury, they really couldn’t get enough of her. Thankfully, they have the opportunity to visit on a regular basis, because Lilibet’s life is being documented on Instagram.

In an interview with the Daily Star, a worker at the hotel named Jo Stevenson had the following to say: “Lilibet’s name was chosen by the cat committee – as the Queen is our adjacent neighbour to The Lanesborough, we thought it a befitting name to call her after the Queen’s childhood nickname.”

Interestingly, this feline got her name before Harry and Meghan named their second baby girl who they named Lilibet. You might even say that she is ahead of the curve.

In the meantime, the feline is busy roaming about the luxury hotel, enjoying life and being pampered by the staff on a daily basis.

Jo had the following to say about the care they give to Lilibet: “We have a cat committee at The Lanesborough – but we all take care of her – there is a Whatsapp group and we have a tracker on her so if she does go missing we can find her.”

Imagine having a committee that is there for your every need!

Lilibet is not the only animal at the hotel. Other pets are welcome, as it is pet friendly. On occasion, Lilibet will hang out with some of the other animals at the hotel, but according to Jo, she doesn’t care much for French Bulldogs.

“Lilibet welcomes all our regular guests, visiting guests to our outlets, and as we are cat and dog friendly have a regular fellow fury friends visiting – there is one breed she is not keen on and that is French bulldogs – she becomes very feisty when she sees this breed for some reason.”
