There is a reason that dogs are continuously called “man’s best friend.” They are very loyal and loving animals who make us feel unconditionally loved.
Growing up, I was often teased and bullied at school and it was my dog who always made me feel better. There was something about the way she just sat with me while I cried that made me feel like things would be okay.
There are many examples on the internet of showing off the immense compassion and loyalty that our canine companions have for us.
In one video, one woman records a whole interaction that her dog shares with her grandpa.
The footage is incredibly sweet and it perfectly captures why dogs are such wonderful pets.

In the clip, the dog is seen gently laying with the grandpa and offering the elderly man a ton of doggie kisses.
You can see just how touched the man is, and how much he’s enjoying the company of such a sweet dog. We truly do not deserve animals.
