When Botella the dog appeared at the Arauco Maipú shopping mall in Chile, no one was really sure how he got there or where he came from.
One thing was clear, though: He was there on a mission to play fetch.
The sweet stray dog had brought his own ball to the mall and cleverly set it on the escalator so it would go up to the top, while he waited at the bottom.
It was his way of getting shoppers to play with him! When the ball reached the top of the escalator, a passerby would send it flying back down so Botella could fetch it.
The dog’s plan worked perfectly!
Someone managed to capture the dog’s clever antics and uploaded the video on TikTok where it quickly went viral.
Cecilia Acevedo Nava commented on the TikTok video that the dog’s name is Botella and employees at the mall have been taking care of him.
He’s given food and water at the mall and is welcome to hang out and interact with customers.
