Do you adjust your training and modification plans to account for location and environmental variation? Then join us on December 19 at 12PM PT/3PM ET for Maddie’s® Monthly Behavior Connection. In “Behavior Modification Plans,” attendees will benefit from certified clinical animal behaviorist Tom Candy’s extensive experience in the UK Shelter Network. You’ll learn how to incorporate factors related to the dog and the environment into your behavior modification plans, to create a happier dog. Candy will also show us how to create successful, adjustable behavior modification plans to maximize progress, keep everyone safe, and achieve measurable success.
Candy is a certified clinical animal behaviorist with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council in the United Kingdom, a certified canine behavior consultant (CCBC) and certified shelter behavior specialist (CSBS) with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultant and a member of faculty and CBATI-KA with the Grisha Stewart Academy. Tom also runs Simplifying Shelter Behaviour, a Facebook page and podcast dedicated to bringing up-to-date, positive based training and behavior tips and tricks to shelter and rescue staff and volunteers.
Maddie’s Monthly Behavior Connection is a monthly webcast held on the fourth Thursday of the month and is an opportunity hear from speakers about behavior medications, modifying animal behavior, assessing and improving animal well-being (welfare) and how organizations successfully provide behavior support to dogs and cats.
Register for Maddie’s® Monthly Behavior Connection and join the group on Maddie’s® Pet Forum to continue the conversation. Even if you can’t make it, be sure to register and the recording will be sent to you.
