Dogs might be man’s best friend, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t have their occasional slip-ups.

Yes, dogs are pretty perfect in that they love us unconditionally, are always there for us, and are just so pure and joyful all the time. But they can sometimes also get into a bit of mischief – especially when no one is watching.

Or, at least when they think that no one is watching them.

Of course, not all dogs cause trouble for their owners out of bad intentions, sometimes dogs are just being their silly selves and don’t realize that their actions have unintended consequences.

Take Gigi for example. This St. Bernard is a big girl. But like most big dogs, Gigi doesn’t seem to realize that her size can come with some side effects. That is how she ended up accidentally flooding her family’s home.

Gigi’s owner caught the whole thing on camera, and it was pretty funny to see. Poor Gigi just wanted to go for a swim, but in her quest to get some pool time, she ended up collapsing the side wall of the family’s inflatable pool. When it was apparent that something was going wrong outside, her owner, Luke Smith, ran outside with his camera.

In the video, the viewer can see Gigi standing half in, and half out of the pool as water begins flooding the backyard. Smith is heard on video saying “Gigi stop!” But it’s no use, the damage is done.

According to the Daily Mail, Smith commented after the incident, “It was funny because we had just been talking about how much she loved the pool and how she could get in and out of it with no problems. Boy were we wrong.”
