Chihuahuas are known for their larger than life personalities and close bonds with humans. They also are said to “rule the roost” and can become demanding. Rigby is no exception.

The nine-year-old Chihuahua mix is going viral for refusing to eat unless he is hand-fed.

Mealtime for dogs usually involves a bowl and dog food, but Rigby requires a bit more from his humans. Some dogs devour their food so fast that they need puzzle bowls to slow them down, but not this little guy.

Rigby prefers his meals served by hand and one kibble at a time. He wants a seat by the window and doesn’t like to be rushed.

A video posted by Rumble on YouTube shows the petite pooch sitting in a soft chair as his mom hand-feeds him. She tries to offer the food bowl to him to continue eating, but he puts his nose in the air and refuses to eat.

I guess you could say he’s spoiled, or that he has trained his parents well.

The family shared with Rumble that Rigby suffers from anxiety, so they do everything they can to make him feel comfortable.

Even if that means spending more time feeding him.
