If you’ve ever owned a cat before, you know that they like to be the star of the show. No matter what’s going on, cats are queen (or king) or the roost.
Even cats at the shelter like to have all attention on them, and that became clear when CBC Montreal reporter Alex Leduc tried to film a segment at his local SPCA and was adorably interrupted by a friendly feline.
In a video shared by CBC, Alex can be seen at the SPCA. He’s standing right in front of a cat stand and a furry kitty is perched right on top of it.
Alex probably assumed the cat would make a nice background, adding to the effect of the clip, which was asking for donations for the shelter. However, the cat proved to be quite distracting!
As Alex filmed the promotional piece, the sweet cat let out a loud sneeze and the reporter immediately stopped. He turned away from the camera and said, “bless you,” to the cat before continuing with his recording.
The entire incident was incredibly cute. Some people might think the cat sneezed coincidentally, but those who know cats probably suspect it was on purpose, as a way of stealing the show.
