When Noah’s owner saw a team from Sidewalk Specials going through his village in South Africa, he flagged them down to ask for help with his dog.

They said that Noah the dog was old and in pain, and they wanted to put him to sleep.

Rescuers with Sidewalk Specials agreed to take the dog, but when they got him to the vet, they realized he still had a lot of life left to live!

They shared on YouTube that Noah was old and had arthritis, but he was still healthy and strong.

They got him on medication to help his condition and gave him plenty of space to rest.

Eventually, he was ready to find a new home and a woman with five other dogs stepped up to adopt him.

Noah fit right into her “pack” and got along with the other dogs just fine.

His new owner said her dogs are all rescues. She offers them a retirement home of sorts.

Now that he’s adjusted to his new life, he can’t stop smiling! He loves getting treats and going on walks and playing with his new doggy siblings.

Noah may be old, but he didn’t deserve to die because of it. Hopefully he’ll live out his golden years in peace with his new family.
