A good Samaritan reached out to PAWS Shelter for assistance with their apartment complex’s resident outdoor cat. This cat had been trying to get in people’s apartments for a little over a year. The good Samaritan reached out to the apartment office, residents, and anyone else he could think of to see if McSqueakins belonged to anyone. No one claimed him, however, and the good Samaritan found out that McSqueakins had been living at the apartment complex for a little over a year.

The good Samaritan took him in, but realized that he could not provide a forever home for Sir McSqueakins. After reaching out to PAWS, we realized that we could help. Sir McSqueakins came into our care and quickly became a staff favorite. This kitty had silver coloring, with white features, and a little white mustache! He quickly became the office cat while we waited for his forever family to find him.

He was transferred to our offsite cattery at PetSmart San Marcos and was adopted within two days of being there. His adopter responded that Sir McSqueakins, now named Dutch, is “just as friendly and cuddly as ever. He obviously was just looking for someone to love him.”
