Every parent can relate to this: You’re laying in bed, trying to get a few more minutes of precious sleep, when an energetic child runs in and starts climbing all over you.

It’s one of those things that feels annoying in the moment but can be sweet to look back on.

As it turns out, it’s not just human parents that experience this, but animal parents do as well! Just take the cat family in the video below, for example.

The mama cat was trying to rest, as moms do, but her little white kitten, Pinky, refused to let her sleep!

Pinky really wanted Mom to get up and play, but Mom was having none of it. After Pinky got a little more aggressive about wanting her mom to get up, the mama cat put the tiny kitten in her place and pinned her down.

All the while, Pinky’s brother, Archie, rested calmy against his mom, ignoring Pinky and her antics.

It’s a sweet video and made even sweeter by the fact that the feline family had been rescued just a short time before from a horrible hoarding situation.

According to the cat’s foster family, the mama cat and her kittens were “really sick” when they were rescued and the mom had awful wounds on her neck and nose.

It wasn’t a good situation for the cat family to be in, but as you can see in the video below, they’re doing much better now!

In fact, the foster family was pleased to share that the mama and her kittens all end up in loving homes and are “doing wonderful.” Such great news!
