Birds of a feather, flock together. It’s not just an idiom to explain how people of a certain character or nature tend to form a friendship or relationship. Sometimes, it can be quite literal. All you need to do is look to the sky. There is nothing quite as majestic as seeing a group of birds collectively flying through the air at once.
Starlings are one such bird that flies together and creates beautiful displays.
It’s definitely cool when someone is able to capture it on camera. Photographer Marco Valk managed to be in the right place at the right time to see the starling birds all flying together in the skies of Geldermalsen in The Netherlands.

As they soared through the air creating stunning patterns, he caught every single moment on his camera.
According to LaughingSquid, Walk called it an “honor” to witness. He said that he felt very lucky to be in the “right place at the right time to document it.”
He added that the aerial display is “one of the great wonders of the natural world.”
And after seeing the stunning footage, we can certainly agree.
