A dog owner used his Ring doorbell system to talk to his escaped dog and tell him to go back into the house.

Thinking quickly, he knew they needed to get Sadie back to safety before he made it back home. Who knows what could happen in even just a few minutes if Sadie were to wander away. That’s when he had the brilliant idea to speak to Sadie through Ring.
“Sadie!” the owner said firmly through the speaker.
Sadie immediately turned her attention to the speaker and seemed to recognize the voice. She stood, waiting.
“Sadie, go back in the house!” the owner said.
Amazingly, after a small pause, Sadie listened!
As the owner shared with Ring, “I was getting alerts from Ring while I was 30 minutes away from home. Turns out I had accidentally left the side gate open, and Sadie (my dog) escaped! I spoke through my Ring and Sadie actually listened — she went back into the yard until I pulled up. I don’t know what would’ve happened if I didn’t have Ring.”
