This pet parent had a hilarious moment recently when they caught their pet having a good time with their mirror. If you have a dog at home, you know just how funny it can be when they catch a glimpse of their own reflection.

When this woman noticed her dog staring into her bedroom mirror, she never could have expected what she was going to see next.

At first, she thought that the golden retriever was staring at her. After a few moments passed, she realized the truth. The dog was actually far more interested in his own reflection. To be fair, the dog is does seem under the impression that they are staring back at a totally different animal.

“I was sitting in my room with my dog when I noticed him staring at the mirror,” his owner explained to ViralHog. “I first thought he was looking at me through the mirror, then I realized he was looking at himself and started making faces at himself which is when I took the video.”

The more we watch this video, the more it seems that the pooch is actually not under the impression that he is squaring off with another dog at all. In fact, the golden retriever seems to have a completely different objective. He looks like he is in the process of practicing his very best mean mug.

He can be seen baring his teeth, frowning, giving all the mean face possible – all while intently staring at the mirror.

It’s hard to stop watching so it’s no wonder it went viral!
