Three-time Olympic champion Aly Raisman took to social media when her dog, Mylo, went missing.
Mylo went missing over the 4th of July weekend when fireworks spooked the pup and he fled.
Thankfully, it wasn’t long before Aly was reunited with her beloved pup thanks to a group of kind-hearted strangers.
In since-deleted captions, Aly shared on Instagram and Twitter:
“To my followers in the seaport/Boston area…my dog Mylo was terrified of fireworks and ran off. He has a tag on and a leash. Please let me know if you see him. Thank you.”
The 27-year-old gymnast continued to look for her puppy and even made fliers to hang up, but she continued to come home empty-handed.

After days of searching, she wrote on social media:
“Mylo is still missing. Please please please reach out with exact location if you see or hear anything Thank you. Please contact Lynnraisman@gmail.com Thank you for the help & support.”
A week later, two people saw Mylo caught behind a fence around three miles from where he went missing. The two were able to free the pup and gave him food and water while they called the number on his tag.
Aly was beyond grateful for their help, and she shared the news on Twitter, saying, “HEROES!!!! MYLO IS SAFE. I HAVE HIM -THANK YOU Carla, Gayle & her sweet dog. Will share more soon… but for now going to snuggle with my everything.”
