Animal shelters do their best to describe a dog or cat’s personality in hopes of finding them the perfect fit. Some dogs are shy while others are outgoing. Most people like dogs who have good manners, but then there are dogs like Billy Bob who are sure to make you laugh every day.
Honesty is the best policy… or at least that is what Burke County Animal Services in North Carolina believes. The shelter has taken in a mastiff that has a larger-than-life personality, but not the best manners.
However, he plans to steal your heart with his adorable face and irresistible underbite.
The shelter posted the whole truth about Billy Bob, “tongue hangs out way too much, terrible car rider, entirely too food motivated and will accidentally mistake your arm for a cheeseburger, smells a little, and loves every person he has ever met. Someone adopt this hot mess! We promise you won’t regret it!”
People were intrigued and many inquired about the adoption process. Fellow mastiff owners claimed what amazing dogs they are and said whoever adopts Billy Bob is lucky.
One person commented, “He sounds positively irresistible! Somebody better get that boy quick!!”
Another wrote what most of us were thinking, “I’m in love with a boy I’ve never met.”
