City In Alabama Makes Puppy Mills Illegal

It’s good news coming out of a city in Alabama after the Madison City Council voted to pass a new pet shop ordinance that is outlawing the practice of puppy and kitten mills within the city limits. This was passed during a recent city council meeting that took place on the 28th of December. In addition, the animals who are being put up for sale can’t be younger than eight weeks...

Dogs Purchased During Lockdown Are Already Being Rehomed

For many of us, 2020 has been spent indoors during extended periods of lockdown. As a result of the loneliness, many people have turned to animals for companionship. According to a survey conducted last year by the Kennel Club, there was a significant jump in puppy ownership during the COVID-19 pandemic. Farm Asks People To Donate Their Old Christmas Trees To Feed Goats

If you’re like me, New Year’s Day brings a touch of sadness to it – it means that the Christmas tree is soon going to have to get taken down. Christmas trees spark the holiday season’s joy, and taking them down is always a bummer. While there are some that opt for the faux trees that are somewhat easy to disassemble and put away, others prefer the traditional feel and smell of a real tree. While most of us who buy real trees end up tossing them several weeks later, there is a way to put them to good use once the...
