Animal activists are praising the New York State Legislature for passing the Puppy Mill Pipeline Bill, legislation that will end the sale of dogs, cats, and rabbits in pet stores throughout the state of New York. According to a press release issued by the ASPCA, the bill was pushed by assembly member Linda B. Rosenthal and Senate Deputy Majority Leader Michael Gianaris.
