Baby animals are adorable, and most of what makes them so cute is that they’re all ready to play and explore life as soon as they’re minutes old.
It’s hard not to smile and have your heart melted at such infectious joy!
Joining the ranks of excitable baby newborns is one adorable little llama who is testing out his legs for the very first time.
He is wobbly and unsteady, but that doesn’t seem to stop him one bit. With Mom nearby, he is confident enough to try and get up so he can take on the world. You just have to love that eagerness that baby animals have just moments after coming into this world.
The tiny baby llama had been born only four hours prior to him deciding to get up and get moving. At first, when he first stands up, he teeters a little bit.
It was all too much, too fast, and so the little baby ends up sitting back down on the ground. He’s got a little orange vest around him, making him look even cuter as he endeavors to start walking.
But the little guy isn’t willing to be down long. While he’s in a seated position on the ground, it appears as though he’s rocking back and forth to try and stand up again. There is just no quit in this little guy! However, gravity had other plans. It seems like the little baby might have rocked himself a little too hard to one side, and he ends up taking a topple right onto the ground. Oops!
The cute little baby is just going to have to learn to be a little more patient with himself!
As the video caption explained, “We breed llamas in Oregon- this newborn llama is four hours old and was just figuring out how its legs work!”
