When you have a cat in your life, there is nothing you wouldn’t do for them. You make sure they have all of the food they need, plenty of toys to play with, and some TLC when they ask for it or even when they don’t.

Two felines that understand this all too well are Phoebe and Sox.

As far as felines are concerned, they are some of the more finicky and they have a particular taste that needs to be fulfilled.

Their mom decided that they could have a cat fountain because a regular water dish just wasn’t cutting it.

At first, they loved it but it wasn’t long before it was just something else they would ignore. That is when their mom got busy and decided to build them something epic.

In the video below, you can see that Phoebe and Sox now have their own special drinking pond. It has everything a cat could possibly want in a water receptacle, including decorative rocks, special plants, and a robotic fish.

When Phoebe or Sox comes for a drink of water, they are expecting something unusual. Regular water fountains may provide a bit of a distraction or perhaps some fun for about five minutes, but these cats want something more.

After watching Phoebe drinking from an aquarium, she got the idea that a special drinking pond could be created with plants. As it turns out, she was spot on and the cats absolutely love it up.

Don’t worry, the mom made sure that everything in the pond was safe for the cats. That included feline-friendly plants, such as cat grass, Chia, Rosemary, and some cat-safe orchids.

After putting everything together, she put it down, and before long, Phoebe and Sox were happily drinking out of it. No more getting tired of a common water dish. This is everything a finicky cat could want.
