An adorable poodle is going viral over her adorable round shape.

Mohu, a 6-year-old toy poodle, lives in Osaka, Japan with her owner, Nanae. Since Nanae started sharing photos and videos of the dog on Instagram and TikTok, people around the world have been falling in love!

In fact, Mohu was even given the unofficial title of the “world’s cutest dog,” according to the New York Post. After looking at her, it’s not hard to see why. She’s so plump and round looking, it’s uniquely adorable.

According to the Leicestershire Live, Nanae says she’s unsure why Mohu has so many fans.

She said, “I don’t know why she’s so popular. She always gets looked at on the street, and I get asked all the time what breed she is.”

As it turns out, Mohu’s adorable appearance has more to do with her hair than anything else. As a puppy, she looked like other miniature poodles but as her hair grew out, she took on the round, plump look she has today.

The American Kennel Club explains that miniature poodles don’t shed like most dogs so their hair can grow quite long. Most dog owners choose to keep their dogs’ hair trimmed short so it’s easier to deal with, but it’s not a requirement for the breed.

As long as the dog’s coat is being thoroughly brushed each day, it’s possible to let it grow out a bit like Mohu’s. It’s certainly cute, but so much work to maintain!
