As sad as it is, there are so many stray dogs in the world – and it’s usually because of so-called dog lovers.
People purchase dogs through breeders without doing due diligence, support backyard breeding and animal purchases on Craigslist and Facebook, and some don’t even get their animals fixed. These things all lead to numerous stray dogs on the streets, which results in more dogs being injured or ending up euthanized.
One true dog-lover saw a situation that could’ve ended up badly for some poor pups, so he stepped in to rescue them. Brady Oliveira was scrolling Facebook when he saw a post that caught his eye. It read: “Unwanted puppies. Get them off my property.”
According to The Dodo, Brady immediately drove to the man’s address to collect the puppies. When he got there, he found that they were all scattered outside in the freezing cold!

He quickly found two puppies on a broken box on the porch, but he knew there were more from the Facebook post. He began searching and it wasn’t long before he found some hiding under the deck, and others scattered about on the snow-covered ground.
One by one he collected the pups, which proved to be quite the challenge. One little black puppy, in particular, was terrified and refused to surrender to help.
Eventually, Brady was able to corner her under the porch deck and crawled under to get her.
After they were all safely in the car, they convinced the owner to surrender the mother dog, too.
All of the puppies ended up going to loving foster homes immediately, and it wasn’t long before they each found a forever home.
Even the mom found a home to call her own, and her new family named her Bagel. How adorable!
