Mako the 3.5 yr old pitbull lives with Bethany and Samantha Castiller, but he’s not like a regular pitbull.

Bethany and Samantha regularly share about Mako’s antics on Instagram, dubbing him “Mako the Cat Dog.”

The reason for his nickname? Mako loves to jump on high surfaces, much like cats like to do.

As the family shares on Instagram, Mako will curl on the coffee table to take a nap:

He’ll perch on the kitchen counter with the cats:

He’s even made his way to the top of the refrigerator!

While many dogs like to enjoy a snooze on their dog beds, Mako prefers more unique surfaces like the kitchen table:

In an interview with The Dodo, they shared, “He definitely likes to be on elevated surfaces. He definitely likes to do what the cats do. Are you a kitty Mako?”
