Earlier this year, actress Kaley Cuoco and husband Karl Cook experienced a devastating loss. Their beloved rescue pit bull, Norman, passed away and left a hole in their hearts.
As anyone who has lost a beloved pet knows, one of the best ways to heal is to open your heart and home to another rescue.
And that is exactly what the couple did.
The longtime animal lovers recently fell in love with a senior rescue mutt named Larry. It was love at first sight. Cuoco took to Instagram to introduce the newest member of the family.
“When you know you know! Welcome to the family, Larry! He’s a 9 year old ginormous mastiff chunk mutt of love and we are obsessed,” she wrote.
She included photos of the adorable pup, showing he is already making himself at home.
He doesn’t seem to mind all of the snuggles and kisses from his new family. It is obvious he is thrilled to be in a loving home.

His new family couldn’t be happier and thanked everyone involved in rescuing and introducing the amazing dog to them.

Rita Earl, proud mom of three senior rescue dogs, volunteers with Los Angeles shelters and gets to meet numerous shelter dogs. She uses her photography skills to help shelter dogs find forever homes. She fell in love with Larry after she met him and is so excited that he has finally found his forever home.
“Larry is everything ‘gentle giant’ means. He’s 9yrs young 134lbs 😍 and a friend to ALL. Super chill and easy going and I love him,” she posted on Instagram. “They say adopting a senior dog is like fast forwarding to the good part – I 💯 agree!”
Larry is finally home.
Friends and fans congratulated the couple on their new addition. Justin Theroux said, “YES!!! A senior big boiii!!! So happy for you LARRY!!!”
Another person commented, “Congratulations on the new addition to your family!! ❤️❤️. Love you and your hubby for always making room for one more. Larry is a very lucky boy. 😁”
