We all know that dogs and humans get along. There’s a reason dogs are referred to as man’s best friend. But the relationship that dogs share with kids is on a whole other level. Kids and dogs are like mac and cheese – they’re a classic and fun combination.
Nothing shows this better than the video of Zeke and his owner, Zachary. The little boy and the golden retriever are the best of friends and they love to do everything together, including enjoying a game of fetch or two.
While the playful pooch and the five-year-old boy were on a family vacation together, the two were playing around outside with a couple of sticks.
The game of fetch soon took a turn when Zachary was taking a little too long to throw the piece of wood for Zeke. It was clear that Zeke was really feeling the energy and wanted to keep playing and keep the high-intensity going.
But his over-enthusiasm ended up causing a little bit of a mishap when he went to grab the stick from Zachary.

It turned into a tackle situation when the golden retriever pooch jumped on the little kid. Immediately, Zachary went down, but he didn’t mind. Instead, he seemed to find it funny and just laughed it off, got up, and wanted to continue playing with his best friend.
Got to love how kids can keep up with their pets’ energy.
