When a new baby is welcomed home, the family dynamic can totally shift.

For families who have pets, bringing a baby home can either be really exciting or really nerve-wracking.

Some dogs are eager to act as guardians of their baby brothers and sisters, while others are jealous of the attention the new baby gets.

A golden retriever named Bear definitely falls into the latter category, but his baby sister was doing her best to win him over.

When Winter came into the family, Bear wasn’t sure what to think. It’s a big adjustment and he wasn’t quite ready to accept it!

Baby Winter, on the other hand, was more than happy to do her part to win Bear over – despite the side-eye she was getting.

In an adorable compilation of videos, you can see baby Winter trying to get close to Bear, only to be given the cold shoulder. It’s quite something!

But eventually, Bear starts to come around and warms up to little Winter. The dog even ended up sharing some food with her!

Hopefully as Winter and Bear spend more time together, their bond will just grow stronger and stronger.
