I think that all of us have our favorite place to curl up and take a nap on occasion. Perhaps you enjoy putting your feet up in your favorite recliner or maybe, you just open the window and take a nap so you can hear the outside noise.
Although we all likely have our own favorites, there is nothing like what we see at the Larkin Street Laundry.
If you happen to go into that laundromat, you are likely to see a golden retriever doing something that golden retrievers do best. He would be taking a nap.
Cody the Golden retriever is a constant companion at the laundry mat. His father works there, so you can usually find him napping on one of the washing machines. As an 8-year-old pup, he likes staying close to his dad but he also appreciates helping out at times.

This isn’t the first dog that the family has had that visits the laundry mat. Cody may enjoy curling up on the washing machine, but according to The Dodo, Stephanie, his human sister, says their old dog liked to sit on the chairs.
Customers really appreciate seeing Cody and watching him snoozing away is a nice way to pass the time while some clothes are getting cleaned or drying.
As far as Cody is concerned, he has the run of the laundromat but he still has a favorite spot. He also loves being given some attention by the customers, so he is living the perfect life for a dog.
Stephanie shared, “I think he likes how he can see everyone at eye level when he’s on top of the washers. He’s also kinda snobby for a dog, so I have a theory he likes to feel like a king up there.”
Cody has also made some Internet fame and is now part of a number of memes:
