An adorable puppy had the chance to go fly fishing with his dad and he had no idea how to react!

In an adorable video taken from shore, you can see the dog snuggled up in a backpack on Dad’s back while he was fly fishing.

Dad was waist-deep in the waters of Bennett Springs in Missouri. The popular fishing spot is notorious for housing an abundance of rainbow trout for anglers to catch.

Though the sun was shining, the air was likely brisk as the video was shot in early October. The little pup desperately looked to shore, clearly unsure how to feel about hovering just inches above the water.

Thankfully, the little Frenchie dog was secure on Dad’s back and he didn’t have to do any of the work. Instead, his job was to simply relax and enjoy the ride!

While the puppy may have been uncertain this time around, he may get more and more comfortable with fishing if they go out more often. His backpack looks quite comfortable!

The pup has access to screened walls so he can take in the views and get some fresh air while remaining safe and secure at the same time.
