Cats often want to be the center of attention, and they’ll make it known when they feel like they’re not being seen.
Growing up, I remember one cat, in particular, that wouldn’t let me read a book. Anytime I’d lay down in the sunshine to read, the cat would show up and plop down right on top of the pages. I’ve also heard stories of people working from home who are trying to type when their cats show up and lay down right on their keyboards or laptops.
No matter what their owners are doing, cats want to be in the middle of it, and it can sometimes make things difficult.
For a cat owner in Russia, she’s been struggling to get in her daily yoga routine since adopting a kitten.
The feisty 6-month-old cat doesn’t approve of her yoga routine, and would rather spend the time playing. Rather than letting his owner finish her workout in peace, the cat protests her efforts by throwing himself on her!
In a video shared on YouTube, you can see the little cat attacking his owner’s feet as she tries to enjoy her yoga workout. After enough scratches to her toes, the cat mom runs to the other room and grabs thick socks to protect her feet.
While the socks may have helped a little, the cat wasn’t deterred and continued to protest the workout and demand playtime.
It’s the typical cat thing to do, and just goes to show up much we love our furry felines to put up with their silly antics.
The cat mom shared with ViralHog, “This is my usual workout since the cat appeared at my home. In fact, he is still small, he is only 6 months old.”
