In a real-life twist, a South Lake Tahoe family experienced a Goldilocks moment when a family of bears stopped by their pool late at night. The California-based family were awakened late at night by their unexpected guests arriving in their home’s backyard.
They had a little pool party of their own, jumping into the pool and splashing around. They even got bold and picked up one of the floating balls to have a little bit of extra fun.
The homeowners could only do one thing: record the bear’s pool party on video.
According to ViralHog, they posted it online, writing, “At 2 in the morning, we heard some noises coming from our backyard and to our surprise, it was 4 bears all having a blast in my daughter’s pool.”
While the video might have been adorable seeing a family of bears crashing someone else’s pool, their move into the backyard could have been prompted by the wildfires in California.
The Fork Fire had been burning around the Lake Tahoe area for a while, burning thousands of acres. This family of bears most likely had been fleeing from the flames.
