If you’ve spent any time on TikTok recently, you might be familiar with a cheeky emu named Emmanuel.
Emmanuel lives at Knuckle Bump Farms in south Florida, a hobby farm run by Taylor Blake. Blake often shares educational videos on her farm’s TikTok account, but it’s Emmanuel whose the true star.
In Blake’s clips, you can often see her attempting to film before Emmanuel shows up and pecks her camera to the floor.
At this point, his antics have become a classic staple to her channel. In fact, Emmanuel has become a fan favorite on TikTok, drawing in 1 million followers and counting!
Blake can often be heard shouting in her videos: “Don’t do it, Emmanuel, don’t do it!” Needless to say, he does it anyway.
You can see one example in the video below:

However, Blake was surprised when she began filming herself to create an educational video and Emmanuel showed up. Instead of knocking her camera over, however, he actually listened!
As you can see in the video below, Blake can be heard saying, “Don’t do it, Emmanuel, don’t do it! Emmanuel Todd Lopez!”
It seems the full name really got to Emmanuel because he simply looks at the camera and takes a step back. He doesn’t peck it away like usual.
“That brings me great joy in my soul that you listened,” Blake whispers.

It’s not just Emmanuel who tries to steal the show, either. Blake’s other emu, Ellen, also tries to get in on the action.
Of course, Emmanuel isn’t far behind though:

According to National Geographic, Emus are native to Australia and are the second-largest living bird (after ostriches, which are in the same family!). They can run up to 31mph, but they can’t fly.
Emus can grow up to 6.5 feet tall and weigh 66-100 pounds! That’s one big bird.
They can also live between 10 and 20 years, so Blake should have her hands full for quite some time!
