This month’s Flight to Freedom has touched down in New Jersey with 50 shelter dogs rescued from overcrowded shelters for a new life in the Garden State.

In the early morning hours of May 20, the dogs were carefully loaded onto the flight and given a proper send-off by shelter staff and volunteers.

Clover, the three-legged sweetheart, has arrived at St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center where she will begin heartworm treatment and then find a loving home.

This life-saving flight was possible due to your continued support. It takes a very large team to make these rescue missions a success and we thank you for your donations to help cover the cost of fuel to fly these pets to freedom.

Dogs and cats continue to arrive at shelters that are already over capacity and are at risk of euthanasia due to lack of space and adopters. These pets deserve to find loving homes, so please help us fly even more shelter pets to freedom by donating towards June’s flight. Just $5 helps cover the fuel costs of flying a pet 125 miles towards safety.
