A special needs dog named Fenix Lumiere struggled to walk as a puppy without falling over, but now he prances about everywhere like an absolute rockstar.
Fenix’s owners shared with ViralHog that he was diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a condition that affects coordination and balance.
While some dogs with that condition struggle to walk or balance, Fenix has found a way to use it to his advantage by strutting around in style.
Rather than walk normally, which Fenix can’t really do given his condition, he’s learned to use his poor coordination and balance to create a signature prance that he uses to get around the place.

According to Carolina Veterinary Specialists, Cerebellar Hypoplasia is characterized by poor development of the cerebellum (the part of the brain responsible for fine-tuning motor movements).
Because of this, many dogs affected by the condition are unable to “move or even stand still normally.” While some dogs struggle to walk to the point that they need a wheelchair, others can “learn to compensate for their condition and go on to live a long, happy, and pain free life.”
It seems Fenix falls into the latter category, and his owners even shared with ViralHog that he is the “happiest dog on the planet,” and called him “an absolute rockstar!”
