Pet parents in Germany got the enjoyment of a lifetime when they took their dog to the zoo in Neuruppin.

The dog’s owners wanted to make memories with their pup and take him on adventures, so they planned a fun outing to the zoo to do just that.

Zoos often have many different types of animals that might interest a dog, but it seems it was the animal closest to him that really piqued his interest: wolves.

As wolves do, they let out some loud howls as the pet dog looked on. The dog couldn’t stop staring and appeared totally intrigued and fixated on the howling wolves.

Then, out of the blue, the pet dog decided to copy the wolve’s howl – only, he didn’t do a great job at mimicking.

When the dog opened his mouth, he let out a noise closer to a baby babbling than a wolf howling! It was something else, and his owner thought it was absolutely hilarious.

Speaking with ViralHog, the dog’s owner explained:

“We were at the zoo with our dog to make new adventures with him. Luckily, we saw some wolves and they gave us a phenomenal howl. After some seconds of listening, our dog tries to reply. That sounds so funny because he didn’t get the right tone. While he tries to answer them, the wolf in the front stopped and gave our dog a funny judging look. This was one of my favorite moments with him ever!!!”

Thankfully, they managed to capture a video of the hilarious moment so you can witness it for yourself! Toward the end of the video when the pet dog attempts to howl, you can hear his owner burst into laughter.
