Cats and dogs can get along and even be best pals. If you don’t believe me, meet a Labrador named Camper and his feline friend, Leo.
The two not only tolerate each other but actually enjoy playing together.
One of their favorite activities involves a box and a leash. It all started about a year ago when Camper became jealous of Leo riding around in a box on top of a vacuum.
Camper wanted to join in on the fun so their humans, Kevin and Tricia, attached a leash to a cardboard box. As soon as Leo gets into the box, Camper picks up the leash and runs around the house.
Both appear to be having fun.
In true cat fashion, Leo decides when they will play and it is always on his terms – but Camper doesn’t mind. However, sometimes the energetic pup will try to encourage his feline buddy to play by nudging him, but it never works.
Camper may be Leo’s personal chauffeur but Leo tolerates the bumpy ride that his pal often takes him on.
Their parents came up with the purr-fect Christmas gift. They purchased a wooden sled for Leo to sit on and attached a rope to the handle so Camper could pull it around in the snow.
Leo took his position and Camper leaped with joy as he grabbed the rope and took off running through the fluffy snow. It is impossible not to smile watching the two pals playing together.

Camper now has another feline brother named Jack who is doing everything his brother Leo does, including riding around in boxes. Being a big brother to two cats is not easy, but Camper is up for the job and thrilled to have more opportunities to play.
Watch as Jack masters the jump into the cardboard box and initiates his “ride”.
