Sometimes, accidents happen. As pet owners, we’ve probably all had close calls where we almost lost our pets to an open door or garden fence. Some of us might have even had to face the real devastation of losing a pet.
It can be a very scary moment when you realize that your beloved pet isn’t inside your home anymore. The first thing that you worry about is their safety.
Many of us live in areas that see lots of road traffic, and the last thing that you want is to end up finding out that your pet has gotten hit by a car. Plus, there is always the other fear that someone took them and you’ll never get them back.
For one family, their beloved dog, Ashely, went missing. It was a very devastating moment for the family. But they did what any family with a missing canine would do: They went in search of the missing pooch.
Unfortunately, they didn’t have much luck finding her. The family searched for days. But eventually, those days turned into weeks and there was still no sign of their dog. Still, they refused to give up hope.
Eventually, the family received the phone call that they had been hoping for: Ashley had been found. The missing dog had been taken to the local animal shelter and the staff there were able to get in contact with the family.
Immediately, they rushed over to get her. Ashley had been sitting inside her kennel, waiting, but it was clear from the first look that the dog was quite depressed. She must’ve been thinking she’d never see her people again. But as soon as she saw her parents, the pup perked up immediately!
There is no denying the great amount of love she’s got for her family, and she was so happy to see them again. It was a beautifully heartwarming reunion caught on camera.
