Any dog that is part of a loving family appreciates being around people. They might even get excited at the thought of being by your side, but none get as excited as Pete.
Ever since Pete was young, he would freeze and fall over when he had an episode. It tends to be when he is excited, but it can occur at any time, such as when he sees ducks or walks from grass to concrete.
As a result of his condition, his family has named him “Petrified Pete.” According to We Love Animals, he has been dealing with this odd condition since he was young, and nobody is sure why he has it.
Veterinarians feel that it may be neurological, or it could be fainting goat syndrome. They aren’t sure what it is, but they don’t think Pete is in pain when he has an episode.
The funny thing is Pete doesn’t allow his unusual condition to get in the way of his enjoyment of life. When he falls over, he just stands back up and moves on.
The unusual condition has caused some people to worry about Pete, thinking he is having a seizure. After they get to know the dog and find out he has been dealing with it for life, they tend to relax.
They may not know why Pete has these episodes, but there is one thing they know for sure about him. Pete loves life, and he loves everybody in his family.
