Every pet owner has a different way of letting their pet know that they’re loved. Usually these gestures of love are not without a price tag.

Pet owners love to buy their favorite four-legged friend something special. But we don’t always have to shower our animals in material goods to let them know how much they mean to us. Yes, it’s fun buying them things, but it also works just as well doing something nice for them.

When it comes to pets and the family dynamic, it’s a universal rule that Dad is usually always the softie. Personally, in my family, my father is a total pushover when it comes to our cats. They have him wrapped around their fingers. But my father isn’t the only one with a soft spot for the family’s feline.

As one TikTok user, @emilycrowder_97, captured in a video, her father spoils their cat rotten in the cutest way possible!

As shown in a TikTok video, their cat, Cornelius, gets the red carpet treatment every mealtime. The TikToker shared that their cat gets fed at the kitchen table, and it’s clear who the “favorite child” is by the way her dad places out a special placemat for Cornelius, as well as indulges him in different cuisines.

It’s not ordinary cat food for this kitty – Cornelius’ personalized menu includes such tasty treats as roast-beef sandwiches. Quite the spoiled little cat indeed.

What is even cuter is that he’ll sometimes have full conversations with the little cat – mostly when he’s trying to get him to clear his plate.

Not only is this video insanely cute, but it does reinforce the fact that our dads are secret softies when it comes to the animals who live in our homes – and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
