Since ancient times, a rampart has been an essential part of checking on the surroundings of a castle or village and protecting it.

We often see these ramparts when we visit those areas, but we don’t see them often in modern situations.

That doesn’t mean, however, that a rampart never has a place in our lives. That is especially true if you are an adorable dachshund named Miles.

According to The Dodo, Miles had a problem, and his family was trying hard to find a solution. You see, he wanted to keep the yard safe from anything on the outside, so he would always dig under the fence and escape.

It didn’t seem as if this would stop anytime soon, so his pet parents came up with an epic solution, to say the least.

They built Miles his own rampart around the fence, and now the dog can patrol the area as much as he wants.

The rampart not only had the benefit of allowing Miles to see more of the world but also kept him safe behind the fence. It was a win-win situation for the parents, who love their dog very much.

It also had the added benefit of making Miles feel a little bigger than he already was. His mother said he thinks he’s a big dog now, and we can see why.

Many people who saw the video had comments in line with what any pet lover would say. They could recognize the owner’s love and Miles’s love for his new fun area.
