The Jersey cow was intended for meat, but the butcher spared his life since he was on the smaller side, most likely because he was picked on by the other cows in the herd.

He is now living the life on Garrett and Shiane Holzwarth’s Michigan farm and acts just like a puppy would. He loves to play with balls and swim in the pond with his human siblings, JoHanna, Gaven, Colsen and Brynnah.
He also enjoys sitting by the campfire while eating graham crackers, take naps in the pasture with his family, and run around and play.
Throw back to when Del was a baby! He loves cuddles in the summer sun ☀️

He is an extremely smart cow who moos back at his family when they call his name. He even knows how to open the latches on the gates and gets into trouble just like a puppy would.
