The countdown to Vegas is on! In just a few short days, professionals from the well-being space will gather in Las Vegas from April 15-18 for Animal Care Expo. The conference, hosted by Humane World for Animals (formerly Humane Society of the United States), is jam-packed with must-sees.

One of those must-sees is the debut of the Maddie’s Timeline Game! Created in honor of the 30th anniversary of Maddie’s Fund^®, you’ll test your knowledge of the impact and history of the foundation by putting milestones in order from earliest to latest.  You’ll have the opportunity to win a stuffed Maddie, latte mug or 30th anniversary t-shirt!

Additionally, Maddie’s Fund is sponsoring the Veterinary Medicine track with sessions focusing on vaccine recommendations, cultural intelligence, recruitment and more.

Our booth (#101) aims to be a welcoming and inclusive place to meet, hang out, discuss community-centric practices and diversity, equity and inclusion. Additionally, we will be sharing our booth space with the BIPOC in Animal Well-Being Collective. We hope you’ll stop and say hi, play the game, and connect with those across the country doing the hard work that is animal well-being.

And, be on the lookout for Trailblazer Honorees at the conference. “This award is designed to recognize individuals from around the country who have demonstrated a passion for protecting animals while increasing the representation of racial and ethnic minorities, women, men, LGBTQ+ people and people with disabilities, to ensure all underrepresented groups at all levels of the animal welfare movement are welcome at Animal Care Expo,” according to the Expo website.
