Personally, I’m not much of a bird person. I find them to be a little too shifty for my taste. But still, they do make wonderful pets for the right person. I did get to see just how much personality birds can have after spending some time with extended family one summer. My aunt has a little cockatoo that has quite the personality.

They can definitely be taught a variety of tricks.

One adorably smart gray and white cockatiel named Wilbur has shown that he can do plenty of tricks at his owner’s encouragement. His owner, Stella, has shown off Wilbur’s many talents. And Wilbur’s other owner, Eddie, happily captured the adorable footage for the rest of us to enjoy.

In the video, you can clearly see Wilbur’s great concentration and focus as he admirably performs for his audience. It’s so cute to see the way that he high fives. If that doesn’t bring a smile to your face, I don’t know what will.
